Orthopaedic beds for dogs are made from high quality foam. These beds are a lot harder than your traditional pet beds( the soft cushioned types).
Who can use this bed?
Its best suited for senior aging dogs. It work well with dogs with joint related issues ( HD, Arthritis and so on)
Why are these beds hard?
These beds are made so to avoid the paws to sink in. If the paws sink in the bed, it makes it diffuse for the dog to get up with already weaker joints and thus putting additional pressure on the joints i.e. more pain.
What do you get?
- A flat mattress wrapped in a non-removable liner cover( not removable) and
- A removable cotton cover.
Add-On’s as selected:
- Bolsters- if selected, then you get a bed + 3 bolsters and a cotton cover
- Spare cover- if selected, then you get as per the choices made ( Cotton cover/waterproof cover). Spare covers are made accordingly as per the bed selected- flat or with bolsters

How do we maintain this?
The removable cover should be washed every now and then. The bed should be shown some sun twice-thrice a year. The frequency depends on your love of cleaning( I wash covers every week and beds get sun every month)

All of our products are machine washable (except Orthopaedic Dog beds).
Here are few tips to keep our products last forever :
- Use gentle wash cycle on your washing machine.
- Soak and cold wash the products.
- Sun drying is good for the product and for the environment.
- For all products with waterproofing, wipe them down with Vinegar + water solution/disinfectant of your choice.
- Put mats/ beds out in the sun once a month.
- Vacuum/ dust the bedding as often as you can.
- We do not claim any of our products to be chew-proof.

The bolsters make space less for an adult lab. The quality, otherwise, is really good. Please do look into the point mentioned. You could increase it by 6/8 inches.

Best bed for pets After huge contemplations and research I found Pawffles and kept checking with them regarding their products and rates. When milo got diagnosed with tick fever and his joints started becoming stiff, I immediately reached out to them and they were very responsive and prompt to help me. We zeroed in on the ortho bed and they shipped it as soon as they could. The quality is top notch and comfort is so good that sometimes I go and lie on the bed 😅. The best ! We purchased the large size waterproof bed for our Argo . 1st impression was that it’s huge! And we loved the cute prints on it . Argo quickly settled in , he has no control over his bladder so the waterproofing was perfect for him , easy to clean, the sheets dries up quickly too . And it’s comfortable! He loves it ! We love it 😍 one thing that i want to add was how helpful pawffles was . They wanted to know a bit about my boy n made a few changes to the bed according to his needs. And we loved that .Thank you !
